Thomas Todd, LMHC

Thomas is the Director here at the Foundation Counseling Center and the Executive Pastor at the Connection Church. Thomas has served as a pastor for the past 15 years. Throughout his time serving in many roles and engaging his own story, Thomas saw the need for further training in counseling. Thomas received his Master of Arts in Counseling and Master of Divinity degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary.

Thomas’ desire to walk with people through the journey of life has been greatly impacted by his family and his own personal story. Thomas and his wife Donna have six children, the youngest three are adopted. Thomas witnessed the effect of trauma and has had further training in the Certificate Program for Adoption Competent Mental Health Professionals. He believes hurt comes through relationships as well as healing.

Thomas enjoys working with adults and children 16 years of age and up, no matter their struggle. Thomas walks with individuals and couples alike in their story. He implements a number of therapeutic modalities, adapting each session to the needs of the client. Outside of the counseling office Thomas enjoys time with his family, going to the beach, watching his children play a myriad of sports, teaching, reading, running, playing chess, and connecting with friends.
