Anna Patterson, LMHC

Anna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and a Certified Grief Counselor. She is originally from Texas where she earned a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Amberton University. After a move to Florida, she attended Palm Beach Atlantic University and earned an MS in counseling psychology.

God transformed Anna’s life and redirected her path in her early thirties from the business world to join the staff of Cru, a global non-profit ministry. Her work with this ministry for over 20 years deepened her understanding of God, others, and herself. Her belief in God and reliance on Him became the foundation of her life and of her counseling. We all have value and purpose because He created us in His Image. We have stories that are filled with beauty and brokenness. Anna sees her purpose as one who walks beside others in those hard, broken areas of their stories, helping them process and heal to the degree they desire. She counts it a privilege to explore what that looks like with her clients as they journey together towards health and wholeness.

Anna is passionate about working with adults ages 18 and older. She specializes in grief, anxiety, depression, stress, and stages of life issues. Anna uses several therapeutic modalities including Attachment-based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Relational Therapy. In addition to counseling, Anna loves spending time with friends and family. She enjoys the beach and Disney World, traveling, reading, music, and sports.
